Because sport is about seeing. At a fight night, a pillar between a ringside table and the ring is a complaint waiting to happen. At an awards dinner, it's the table that can't see the winners walk up. Our 1,100m² hall has no pillars at all, so you can put the ring, stage or screen wherever it works best and know every guest can see it.
The building is single-storey and air-conditioned throughout. Ambient LED lighting and a full PA system are already installed, which covers walk-on music, MC announcements and after-dinner speeches without hiring in a basic sound rig. For bigger productions, add the 7m-wide LED screen or LED side screens, or bring your own production company.

Maher Centre doesn't do in-house catering, which gives you the freedom to choose. Our partner network includes caterers, DJs and AV teams who know the venue inside out, or you can bring your own suppliers through our Partner Programme. Beef and pork are not served on the grounds of the Maher Centre. If you want a bar, our optional corkage and bar hire comes in three tiers, or we can refer you to a specialist bar company. Optional banqueting packages cover chairs, round tables, linen, cutlery and crockery, so a sporting dinner looks the part without you sourcing it all.
We're at 15 Ravensbridge Drive, Leicester LE4 0BZ, five to ten minutes from M1 Junction 21. Travelling clubs, away fans and fighters' camps reach us easily from Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry and Northampton, and park on site.
