Maher Centre hosts industry awards, staff recognition nights and gala dinners for up to 1,000 seated guests in one pillarless hall in Leicester, with LED screen options, bar packages, partner caterers and 350+ free parking spaces near M1 J21.
An awards night has three jobs. Guests need to feel looked after, the winners need their moment, and the whole thing has to run to time. The room plays a big part in all three.
Our main hall is a single 1,100m² space with no pillars, so you can seat 1,000 guests at round tables and still give every one of them a clear view of the stage. Leaving no guest sat behind a pillar is something we take seriously. When the trophies are done, the floor can open up for dancing, with room for up to 800 at a dinner-and-dance layout.
All are optional upgrades, and your event manager will help you design the look.
Optional packages make dressing 100 tables simple. Bespoke packages are available too.

Florists, AV crew and your caterer arrive. Screens, stage dressing and table plans go in, with roughly two hours or more to get it right.
Guests park in our floodlit car park, walk a few steps to the door and are welcomed with a drink as the evening begins.

Maher Centre does not cater in-house. After meeting you, our team recommends caterers from our partner network who suit your event, and who already know how to serve a plated dinner to a full hall on time. If you have a caterer you trust, they can join through the Partner Programme.
Caterers work from an industrial kitchen with four burners, a free gas supply and refrigeration. Beef and pork are not served on the grounds of the Maher Centre, so build your menu around chicken, lamb, fish and vegetarian dishes. Many guests appreciate that.
