Maher Centre hosts product launches, networking receptions, staff celebrations and company milestones for up to 1,500 guests in one pillarless hall in Leicester, with LED screen options, partner caterers and 350+ free parking spaces near M1 J21.
Not every business event is a day of slides. Sometimes you need to unveil a product to 600 customers, thank 400 staff and their families, or bring a region’s suppliers together for an evening of networking. Those events need room to move, a bit of theatre and somewhere for everyone to park.
Maher Centre’s main hall gives you 1,100m² of open, pillarless floor on a single level. Clear it for a standing reception, fill it with banquet rounds, or mix the two with a stage at one end and a networking area at the other. Our event manager will help you design the layout around your running order.
Add LED side screens or a large LED screen around 7 metres wide for brand films, product shots and live camera feeds.
The hall has ambient LED lighting and a full PA system as standard, ready for walk-in music and speeches.
Cold sparklers, tiered front steps, an LED dance floor or a crystal chandelier are all optional upgrades. We love a showstopping moment, and pyrotechnics are allowed subject to written approval.
Stand builders, AV companies, florists and event stylists are welcome through our Partner Programme.
Two private en-suite dressing rooms work well as a green room for presenters, performers or special guests.

Your event manager helps you plan layout, upgrades and timings, and recommends partners for catering, décor and entertainment.
On the day our event manager, caretaker and three attendants look after the venue, and we handle the full clean-up afterwards.
Catering. Maher Centre does not cater in-house. We introduce you to caterers from our partner network who know the venue inside out, or your own caterer can join through the Partner Programme. They use an industrial kitchen with four burners, a free gas supply and refrigeration. Canapés, bowl food, buffets or a plated dinner are all possible. Beef and pork are not served on the grounds of the Maher Centre.
Drinks. Corkage and bar hire are optional and come in three tiers, from bar facilities only to bar staff with glassware. We can supply the drinks or point you to a specialist bar company. Alcohol-free receptions are just as welcome.
Timings. A booking covers 12 hours, including set-up and pack-down. That is usually around two hours either side, leaving up to eight hours of event time, so nothing ever feels rushed.
Getting there. 15 Ravensbridge Drive, Leicester LE4 0BZ, 5–10 minutes from M1 Junction 21, with 350+ free parking spaces in our own floodlit car park. Inside: staging included, free guest Wi-Fi, step-free access throughout and accessible toilets.
